Google accounted for 64.49% of all U.S. searches in October, as noted in a recent report from Hitwise. That was up 3.55 percentage points from a year earlier and 0.94 percentage point higher than in September. Yahoo, MSN Search and Ask.com received 21.65%, 7.42%, and 4.76% shares of the U.S. search market, respectively, in October, with only Ask.com improving its share year over year.
